RACHEL CHEW
Former dancer of Ballet Jorgen Canada & DPAC Dance Company
Born in Malaysia, Rachel began her dancing lessons at the age of 4. She went on to further her tertiary studies in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Her dancing has taken her throughout Asia, Australia, Canada, North America and Spain for performances, cultural interactions and dance collaboration.
Rachel performed principle roles in repertoires such as 'The Nutcracker', 'The Slave Princess', 'Cinderella', 'Paquita', 'Chopin Suite', 'The Secret Bob', 'Les Sylphides', 'Now illuminated', 'Persisting Memory', 'Solo & Duet' and 'Le Corsaire'.
In Malaysia she performed in D’motion International Dance Festival and M1 Contact in Singapore. Rachel also performed soloist roles in KL Dance Works Production's 'International Ballet GALA 2014', 'Carmen', 'La Bayadere' & 'Giselle'.
She was invited to be a judge for Malaysia International Ballet Grand Prix 2019.
